Medicare Rights Center, a national, nonprofit consumer service organization that works to ensure access to affordable health care for older adults and people with disabilities, is the largest and most reliable independent source of Medicare information and assistance in the United States. Since 1989, we’ve been helping people with Medicare understand their rights and benefits, navigate the Medicare system, and secure the quality health care they deserve.

Your continuing education training in Medicare, MI Pro, is a web-based curriculum designed to empower any social worker to better help their own clients, patients, and others navigate a multitude of Medicare questions. The program builds on our 25 years of national counseling expertise and our experience running the National Medicare Helpline.

It is a pleasure to train professionals, and we hope you have a wonderful continuing education experience. If you have any questions or comments, please contact us at mi@medicarerights.org.

Medicare Interactive provides easy-to-understand answers to the questions posed by Americans with Medicare, their families and caregivers, and the professionals serving them.

At the top of this CE website is a link to our Medicare Guide for social workers – this is your link to Medicare Interactive (MI), a free online Medicare information resource that last year answered almost 2.5 million questions about Medicare. Use the slideshow below to familiarize yourself with MI’s features and functionality, and use it often to bring legally vetted, expert facts and advice to your clients and patients.
